Taking the leap.

“We’re really pleased to see the full film is already up to 40k views on our FB page this morning. Really satisfying to see - and worth getting up early Sunday morning to plug it in Sky News! Thank you for all your hard work on this project.”

It was a leap year, and the ancient tradition in England is that Women can propose to men. Of course anyone can propose at anytime to their partners Male or Female these days.

But in the spirit of leap year tradition Brides magazine arranged for a number of couples to come along to the Savoy Hotel for a free dinner, the only catch is they’d be asked to do a quick review of the meal on camera afterwards. Little did they know this was simply a cover for their ladies to propose (on camera).

An emotionally happy and hectic day was had by all thanks to Condé Nast Brides Magazine. This is just the short sizzle we created to support the longer form content which can be found lower down this page. We also created a number of teasers for social media to start getting people aware of the leap year tradition, these were a mix of Vox pops from the streets of London to short edits from the main day of filming.

To support the campaign press releases, we extracted stills from the video footage, enabling the still images to be delivered to the picture editors very quickly, it was after all a great story.

Here’s the longer form video, well it’s not that long just a bit over 5mins. It achieved just over 65000 hits on its release day.
