Two birds, one stone.

Choosing both.

“My Perfect Cousin has become a trusted partner and goto agency for us. A highly experienced, creative and professional team able to quickly understand the strategic priorities and deliver on brief while going over and above.”

This is the sort of brief we relish, creating quality content to be used across all media, cohesively and consistently. From a TV Ad to outdoor billboards.

Our Director of Photography, is an award winning commercial photographer, so he moves seamlessly between stills and video. This saves time and therefore cost.

It’s also easier for the talent as they establish a strong rapport with a smaller group of people. A bonus of this approach is 100% cohesive content for all uses.

Confession: We are not Nigerian

In order to get this culturally correct we reached out to a Nigerian friend and writer ‘Kay’ to help with scripting and casting.

By getting Kay to help with scripting we established from the start an authentic voice.

As ‘OYA’ is a financial product it was critical to get the script approved ASAP for broadcast, financial products come under strict guidelines from Ofcom (rightly so) , once the script was nailed we could proceed with casting.

The turnout for the casting was fantastic, we were concerned as the casting felt quite narrow, fortunately London is full of talented Nigerians so we were spoilt for choice.  The people you see here are our final selection, the handsome young fella is Kay, he was instrumental in helping with scripting, direction and casting.

‘OYA’ in Nigerian can mean ‘Let’s go’ ‘Come on’ or ‘Hurry Up’ it’s a playful endearment derived from pidgin.

‘It’s always fun to work with My Perfect Cousin’s friendly, professional and talented team. When expertise, creativity, reliability and high standards meet, you know your brand is in the right hands. The icing on the cake is their passionate, funny and energetic attitude that makes every project a joyful experience.’
